Strategic Objectives

Through the Space Industry Workforce Portal, we will create a “single digital front door” for jobs, internships, courses, mentoring and professional certification. Guided by the Australian Space Workforce Group, we will:

Examine what already exists in the market such as training, internships, and qualifications to allow us to build on current offerings, rather than duplicate.
Co-design new programs with educators, government, and industry. This will include developing a national internship scheme, and an online academy of industry-tailored courses.
Connect people and information via a jobs board, monthly workforce newsletter and searchable directory of every Australian space course.
Measure and improve by utilising feedback loops, pilot cohorts, and data analytics to refine content and scale what works.
Champion diversity and access at every step, ensuring opportunities are open to people of all backgrounds, disciplines, and regions.
